Setup Dual Illumation with Smart functions on Dahua Recoder

Smart Illumination, introduced by Dahua in 2022, helps you to see images more clearly. at night when an event occurs.

1. Working principle

The Smart Illumination function works based on the following mechanism: At night or in a dimly lit environment, the camera will turn on infrared and record black and white images. However, when an event is detected (SMD, IVS, Face Detect, Face Recognize, …) will automatically turn on the yellow LED and record in color.
