Export XML Reset Dahua Doorbell Password (VTO – VTH)

In addition to hard reset on Doorbell – Monitor, you can perform soft reset by exporting the password reset XML file. In this article, I will guide you how to reset the device password on ConfigTool software:

  • Download and install the latest ConfigTool software: here.
  • The firmware version supports exporting reset XML files from V4.3 and above (tested from this version).
  • The reset XML file is valid for 72 hours from export.

1. Export XML File Reset password for each device

First, open the Reset password interface on Configtool and do the following to export the File:

Next, send the exported XML File to Distributor or place of purchase, it will return to you a reset file named result.xml

After receiving the result.xml file, import it into ConfigTool to reset the password:

2. Export Multi Device Password Reset XML File

If you have multiple Doorbells – Monitors (VTO – VTH), you can use the following method to reset passwords in bulk. Helps you save time and quickly. Operation is as follows:

After exporting the reset XML file, please send this file to the product Distributor or place of purchase for support.
