[Video] Instructions for exporting XML File to reset password for Dahua Camera

In addition to the hard reset on the Camera, you can perform a soft reset by exporting the password reset XML file. In this article, I will guide you how to reset the device password on ConfigTool software:

• Download and install the latest software ConfigTool : here.
• The firmware version supports exporting reset XML files from V4.3 and above (tested from this version).
• The reset XML file is valid for 72 hours from export.

Next, send the newly exported XML File to The Distributor or place of purchase, which will return you the reset file named result.xml

After receiving the result.xml file, import it into ConfigTool to reset the password:
