Change Camera & Recoder Passwords on DMSS application

You can change the password for Camera and DVR directly on the DMSS application, as follows:

• Step 1: Add devices to the DMSS application by:
  • Scan the Serial Number (SN – QR Code – P2P) on the stamp affixed to the device
  • Add devices by IP address/ Domain name
• Step 3: Proceed to change the device password as follows.
• Device used in this article: IPC-H2AE.

Note: Password can be changed Device password in both modes:

• Local device (no app account logged in)
• Devices in account (app account login)
