How to reset the password of the old Hikvision DVR and Camera?

In this article, I will show you how to reset the old Hikvision Camera and DVR password. As a distinction, you will notice that when using SADP the password reset XML file cannot be exported.

How To:

First, enter your device’s serial number and date in the form below.

Then, enter the code obtained as shown in the box below into “Security Code” on the SADP.

After Reset is done, the default password will be: 12345
