Turn on 2-way conversation with Dahua Camera on DMSS App

To talk to the Camera, on the DMSS application, operate as in the following instructions:

1. Talk directly to Camera

For 2-way communication to the Camera, add the Camera to the DMSS application with:

  • Cloud P2P
  • Domain name
  • IPWAN or internal IP address

2. Conversation through video recorder

You can talk to the Camera through the DVR, if the DVR meets the conditions:

  • It’s an NVR (Network Video Recoder), an IP video recorder
  • New generation XVR (Interface 4.0), Firmware released from 2020 onwards such as: XVR5104HS-I3, …
