Instructions for resetting XVR1B08-I password (V2.0)

In this article, I will guide you how to hard reset the XVR1B08-I video recorder:

How to do it

  • Step 1: Use tweezers (metal) to short-circuit the 2 pins in the picture
  • Step 2: Plug in the receiver and wait about 30 seconds then pull out the tweezers (only pull out the tweezers and keep the power on)
  • Step 3: The receiver will boot up and return to its default state. Access the device’s default IP address (192.168.1.108) to reset a new password.
