Turn on Audio on CVI Camera with built-in mic Dahua

In this article, I will show you how to turn on sound on CVI HD Camera. By default, Dahua recorders will not turn on the audio, so we need to manually turn it on when using it.

How to do

Follow the instructions below:

Note:

  • Select Audio Source as HDCVI
  • If insert into channel 1, select HDCVI, channel 1 is set to default is Local will get audio from the Audio-in port on the recorder.
  • Check that the recording device (DVR, XVR) supports audio transmission over copper cable. axis.
