1. Steps to follow
To add a remote Camera to the DVR, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Change the Camera compression standard to H.264 and set a Static IP for the Camera
- Step 2: Open the HTTP and RTSP ports for the Camera on the network modem (default is 80 and 554). In this video, my HTTP and RTSP ports are 8080 and 554
- Step 3: Use IPWAN at Camera or add domain name to Onvif standard recorder

- When adding a Camera to a different brand recorder, only H.264 compression standard is supported
- Functions such as rotation control and 2-way conversation may not work
- Some devices only support remote connection via IPWAN address, not via domain name (depending on the Onvif version of both parties)
