I. Why should you use KX-A3W and KX-A5W

II. Basic instructions for use
To use Camera KX-A3W and KX -A5W, you need to download the app KBVIEW Plus latest and register an application account by Email or Phone number as instructed below:

Currently, when I tested the phone numbers of three carriers in Vietnam: Mobifone, Vinaphone and Viettel, they all received authentication codes and worked well. How to register an application account is as follows:
2. WiFi connection instructions for KX-A3W & KX-A5W
The current camera only supports 2.4Ghz WiFi on both WiF5 and WiFi6, this helps keep the network connection signal strong and stable.
Note: Bluetooth and location services need to be turned on during connection. Please make sure to fill in your WiFi password correctly.
If you already have the DMSS application, it can also be used to connect WiFI to the Camera as follows:
3. Set up continuous recording on Camera
By default, the camera only records when motion is detected to save space and increase storage time. However, in some cases, you don’t want to miss any moment, you can enable continuous recording for the Camera.
When recording continuously 24/24, on average each day it will consume about 15GB of memory card capacity. Please use high quality genuine memory cards to ensure stable operation during recording.
4. Set up text message alarms on your phone
You can trigger a message alarm to your phone when the Camera detects events such as:
- Detects movement in the image.
- Human detection.
- Detect pets.
You can activate tracking by objects and people when detected. To receive alarm messages to your device, make sure the phone does not turn off the alarm, the phone does not block notification messages, and the KBVIEW Plus application is updated to the latest. Alarm settings are as follows:
5. Instructions for sharing & Cancel sharing Camera
- You can share the Camera with up to 16 other users via Email account or Phone Number.
- The recipient needs to install the application and register an account.
To cancel sharingCamera for another account, log in to the main account that owns the Camera, then press the three-dot button right at the sharing account, and select the function: “Cancel sharing”
6. Activate siren alarm at Camera
When an object is detected, you can activate the siren alarm at the Camera. There will be 3 notification tones for you to choose from as follows:
7. Set up advanced functions
In this part, I will guide you through the setup functions:
- Turn on audio recording.
- Enable anti-backlighting (Wide Dynamic Range).
- Adjust speaker and microphone volume.
- Turn off the indicator light (small blue/red LED on the Camera).
- Flip the image (when installed on the ceiling, the image will be upside down).
- Set time zone.
8. Set points of interest
Point of Interest is an indispensable function on this Camera line. It will help the Camera rotate quickly to the pre-set designated position.
Camera supports setting up to 50 points.
9. Set up automatic travel (TOUR)
With the automatic travel function (TOUR), the camera will move continuously according to the points you have set:
- You can set up to 6 points per trip.
- Multiple itineraries can be set up (but the maximum number of points combined across all itineraries is 50).
- Minimum stop time between points is: 1 minute, maximum is: 59 minutes 59 seconds.
- While performing an automatic journey, if you control the camera rotation manually, the journey will automatically stop. The journey only continues when you reactivate on the application.
10. Unlink Camera with old account
In case you lose your phone or for some reason cannot log in to your old account to view the Camera. You can request unlinking by:
- Unplug the power to take the Camera offline.
- Take a photo of the QR stamp pasted on the Camera and send it to the place of purchase or KBVISION via Zalo: 0932685778.
- After receiving the unlinked response, you can re-add the Camera to your new account

- Does the camera support Onvif?
-> The camera supports Onvif version 2.4 to help you easily connect to other brands of video recorders. - How much space does it take when storing continuously?
-> With KX-A3W about 15GB/ 1 day. With KX-A5W about 21GB/ 1 day. - Is it possible to add a video recorder with rotation and conversation controls?
-> Yes. When adding Dahua, Imou, Kbvision recorders, you can still control rotation and 2-way conversation through the recorder - Can I add Camera to Imou Life and KBONE apps?
-> No, Camera can only be used on KBVIEW Plus or DMSS (mobile). - Will adding a Camera to DMSS lose functionality?
-> When added to DMSS, full functionality is still used. - Can I use it internally without logging in to my app account?
-> No. You need to log in to your KBVIEW Plus or DMSS application account (required). - Add Dahua, Kbvision, Imou WiFi recorders, can they automatically connect?
