In addition to the hard reset on the Camera, you can perform a soft reset by exporting the password reset XML file. In this article, I will guide you how to reset the device password on ConfigTool software:
- Download and install the latest software ConfigTool : here.
- The firmware version supports exporting reset XML files from V4.3 and above (tested from this version).
- The reset XML file is valid for 72 hours from export.
